Why Solar?

Why keep paying high utility bills and dealing with outages you can’t control? With a $0-down solar and battery system, you can redirect that same monthly spend into something you own—often lowering your bill from day one. Solar generates your power during the day, while batteries store that energy to keep your home running at night or during outages. You also increase your home’s value while locking in your energy costs and gaining independence from the utility—it’s a smarter, more reliable way to power your home.

Limited Time 30% Tax Credit Still Available

The 30% Residential Solar Tax Credit officially expired for homeowners in 2025, but through a limited-time commercial funding program, we still have access to an ownership incentive that allows qualified homeowners to receive approximately 30% off the cost of their solar and battery system. In many ways, this is even better than the previous tax credit structure. Instead of paying full price upfront and waiting months, or even multiple years, to fully claim your tax credit, the savings are applied directly off the top from day one, lowering both the total project cost and monthly payment immediately. With utility rates continuing to rise every year, waiting could mean missing out on one of the best ownership opportunities available while continuing to pay increasing bills to the utility company instead of investing in your own home.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does solar cost?

Most systems are $0 down with financing. Monthly solar payments are typically lower than what you pay SCE today, so you start saving from day one. During your free estimate, we'll break down the exact numbers for your home and the financing options available to you.

How long does installation take?

From contract signing to your system being turned on, the typical timeline is 4 to 8 weeks. The actual install on your roof usually takes 1 to 2 days. The rest is permits, inspections, and utility approval, which we handle for you start to finish.

Do I need a battery with my solar?

Not required, but highly recommended in California. Without a battery, when the grid goes down, your solar shuts off too. A battery keeps your home powered during outages and helps you avoid SCE's peak rate hours.

What happens when the grid goes down?

If you have a battery, your home stays powered automatically. Without a battery, your solar will shut off for safety reasons until the grid is restored. This is a federal requirement called anti-islanding.

What warranty do you offer?

Our solar panels come with a 25-year manufacturer warranty. Enphase microinverters are also 25 years. Tesla Powerwall has a 10-year warranty. On top of that, we provide our own workmanship warranty on the install itself.
